Shipping policy

At Del Cauca, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible—from the moment you place your order to the delivery of your items. We understand how important fast and reliable shipping is, which is why we've established a clear and honest shipping policy designed to meet your expectations.


Shipping Partners

We work with reliable shipping providers such as DPD, PostNL, DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Royal Mail to ensure your parcel is delivered safely and efficiently.


Delivery Times

Pre-order Items

We operate a made-to-order model to reduce waste and avoid overproduction. If an item is marked as a pre-order, this will be clearly stated in the product description with an estimated shipping date.
Estimated delivery time for pre-order items: 3–7 business days worldwide.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the full order will be shipped once all items are available.

In-stock Items

  • Netherlands: Orders placed on business days before 17:00 are delivered the next day.

  • Belgium: 1–2 business days

  • Germany: 1–3 business days

  • United Kingdom: 2–4 business days via Royal Mail, DHL, or UPS

  • United States: 3–5 business days via FedEx or UPS

  • Rest of the world: 3–5 business days

Orders are handed over to the courier within 24 hours on business days.


Shipping Costs

  • Free shipping on all orders over €100

  • For orders under €100, shipping costs vary depending on your country and are calculated at checkout.


Bank Holidays

During national or local bank holidays, your order will be processed and shipped on the next available business day. For example, if there is a holiday from Friday to Monday, we will ship your order on Tuesday.


Missing Parcels

Once your order has been fulfilled and handed over to the courier, responsibility for the delivery lies with the courier. We have strict processes in place to prevent loss, but if a parcel does go missing after handoff, we will assist you in contacting the courier—however, the liability rests with the courier service.


International Deliveries

  • No “safe place” or neighbor delivery: For security, international parcels cannot be left in a safe place or with a neighbor. Instead, you may be offered delivery to an official pickup point. If you select this option, you accept full responsibility for the parcel.

  • Failed delivery attempts: Couriers like DHL will make up to two delivery attempts. If both attempts fail, the parcel may be destroyed by the courier. In such cases, no refund or replacement will be issued.

  • Reattempting delivery: You may contact the courier directly to reschedule delivery or arrange pickup. Use your tracking link for more options.


Customs & Import Duties (International Orders)

International orders outside the EU (e.g., UK, USA, etc.) may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. These are charged by your local government and must be paid by you directly to the courier or customs office. We are not responsible for these fees.

  • If you refuse to pay customs charges, the goods may be destroyed. In that case, no refund or replacement will be issued.

  • If the parcel is returned to us, all fees charged by customs or carriers will be deducted from your refund.

By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept these terms.


Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the courier will usually try again. You can use the tracking link provided to arrange redelivery or collection. If you fail to act and the courier returns the parcel to us, return shipping and handling fees will be deducted from your refund.
